.Alice Lloyd College Pitcher Rife named NCCAA Softball Student-Athlete of the Week

Greenville, SC: Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagle Arin Rife has been selected the NCCAA Softball Pitcher of the Week.

The sophomore had an outstanding week helping ALC as she went 3-0 and had a save across four appearances inside the circle for the Eagles. She had a 0.39 earned run average and recorded 29 strikeouts across 18 innings.

Rife had nine strikeouts in a 3-2 win against Bluefield University (Virginia) last Tuesday. The runs allowed in that game were unearned. The Grundy, Virginia, native added 10 strikeouts and scattered three hits in a 10-2 victory against Kent State Tuscarawas last Friday.
