Alice Lloyd’s Rife named CAC Softball Pitcher of the Week

Lawrenceville, GA: Alice Lloyd College sophomore Arin Rife has been named the Continental Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week. The fireballer went 3-0 and had a save across four appearances inside the circle for the Eagles. She had a 0.39 earned run average and recorded 29 strikeouts across 18 innings.

Rife had nine strikeouts in a 3-2 win against Bluefield University (Virginia) last Tuesday. The runs allowed in that game were unearned. The Grundy, Virginia, native added 10 strikeouts and scattered three hits in a 10-2 victory against Kent State Tuscarawas last Friday.
