2026 NAIA Softball All-American Team Announced; Rife makes school-history, selected Third Team

Jun 02, 2026

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2026 NAIA Softball All-American squads following the World Series last week in Columbus, Ga. In addition to the three All-American teams, Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year honors have been announced, highlighted by Analise Rayburn of Oklahoma City earning Player of the Year and Aubree Ferguson of Science & Arts (Okla.) receiving Pitcher of the Year.

For Alice Lloyd College (Ky.) Arin Rife was named Third Team All-American. The sophomore pitcher/first baseman had an outstanding year, leading the Lady Eagles to a school-record 36 wins, and a spot in the Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) tournament. With this latest award, Rife becomes the first softball player in school-history to make the NAIA All-American team.

The fire-baller led the Lady Eagles as a player and pitcher, dominating in the regular season. At the plate, she posted a team-high .396 batting average, four home runs and 46 runs batted in. In the pitching circle, Rife has a 15-6 record, 1.91 earned run average and 152 strikeouts. For this, she was also selected the CAC Player of the Year.

In addition, the sophomore was overpowering in the NCCAA where she led the squad to the NCCAA Softball World Series. In that organization, she finished in the top 10 nationally in 7 different NCCAA categories. This includes finishing 1st in both opposing batting average and saves, 2nd in total strikeouts and wins, 3rd in innings pitched, 6th in fewest bunts allowed, and 7th in earned run average. For this, she was selected as a First Team All-American by the NCCAA.
