March 7th
Game 1
Alice Lloyd-5: MAC-0
ALC would throw a 3-hit shutout to take the opener.(1B)
"The Pass" jumped ahead out of the gate. Mackenzie Newport (CF) and Jordan Rakes (LF) opened with a pair of singles. Newport would then score on a single from Arin Rife (1B), and the second run raced home on Brooke Baker's bunt single (2-0). Finally, a pop fly gave the Lady Eagles a 3-0 advantage.
In the bottom of the second, the Caney Creekers plate another score, aided by a walk and error from the Mustangs, plus a fielders choice, 4-0.
Things remained the same until the bottom of the fifth. In that inning, the Pippa Passes posse would practically steal a run as Mckenzie Orfield (3B) walked, stole second, and stole third. She then raced home on an error (5-0). That would be more than enough as Mid-Atlantic was kept in check until the final out was recorded.
At the plate, Rakes, Rife, Baker, and Abby Maynard (DP) all smacked 2 hits while Newport, Rife, Baker, and Briley Aidala (C) provided the RBI's.
On the mound, Kinna Justice was in fine form, tossing a 3-hit shutout with 5 strikeouts and only 1 walk.
The Lady Eagles won the hitting war, 9-3, and won with 0 errors.

Finally, in the sixth, with a runner on second, Justice laced a single to right field to deliver the goods, 5-0.
Mid-Atlantic then went down in order to seal the deal for the Kentucky kids.
