Lady Eagles Softball Earns Bid to NCCAA National Tournament
Following the completion of the Regional Championship playoffs, the NCCAA tournament committee chose the At-Large selections and seeded the playing field for the 2026 Softball World Series. After a historic season that saw the Lady Eagles softball program record a program-best 36 wins, Alice Lloyd College earned an At-Large bid to the national tournament as the #5 seed. For the Christian Service Project, teams will be assigned to one of three different service opportunities in the greater Dallas area: assembling bags for low-income schools with hygiene kits and other essentials for the Just Because Campaign, packing food boxes at SOS International, or visiting Solstice Nursing Home. Championship action begins on Monday, May 18 utilizing a standard double-elimination format. Games continue on Tuesday, May 19, with the semifinals, championship game, and the "if needed" game all to be played on Wednesday, May 20.
