Bio
Nathan Hall enters his 11th season (2025-26) as head coach of the Alice Lloyd College softball program, having first accepted the post in August 2015 after two years as a student assistant.
Hall's teams have reached new heights: the 2025 club finished 28-16, the best record in program history, and his double-header sweep on March 8th pushed him past the 100-win career plateau. The earlier breakthrough year remains 2021 (26-24), when he guided Alice Lloyd to the school's first NCCAA World Series berth. To date, he has coached 18 NCCAA/NAIA All-Region honorees and 2 All-Americans. He now serves as both National Vice-Chair and Mid-East Region Chair for NCCAA softball, helping shape championship policy and postseason awards.
Beyond Caney Creek, Hall is a familiar face in stripes: he works football, volleyball, baseball, and softball assignments for the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and USA Softball, and was one of two statewide finalists for the 2020 KHSAA Softball Official of the Year award.
An Alice Lloyd alumnus, Hall earned his B.A. in Sports & Fitness Programs Management (2014) and recently added a Master's degree in Coaching & Fitness Leadership (2024). He and his wife, Tori, Director of Institutional Effectiveness & Accreditation at ALC, reside in Pippa Passes, Kentucky, where their son Teagan has already become a beloved figure in the Caney Creek family.
