Alice Lloyd Lady Eagle soccer faces Ohio Christian University

Circleville,OH: On Thursday, September 4th the Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles (0-2) ventured to the Buckeye state to tackle the Ohio Christian Lady Trailblazers in soccer action . The Bluegrass ladies put up a good fight, but fell 11-0

OCU placed the first point on the scoreboard at minute 18:23. They would add another pair of goals by minute 36:00 to lead 3-0.

ALC's Ashley Moore would get a shot-on-goal at 38:34 that was off the mark, and the hosts managed to add a pair of scores late in the half to lead 5-0 at intermission.

In the second half, the Trailblazers spread out six more sucessful kicks to add to their lead as they eventually closed out the day with the win .

For the match, the hosts fired 45 shots compared to the Lady Eagles 1, and led in corner kicks 1-0. These numbers would prove impossible to overcome. 

Pippa Passes goalie Abby Maynard  did register 20 saves. 

The Lady Eagles (0-2) return to action on Wednesday, September 10th, when they travel to Columbus, Indiana to face Indiana University-Columbus. Game time is set for 3:00 p.m.
