ALC Track and Field compete in Eastern Kentucky University Spring Open
Richmond, KY: The EKU Spring Invitational was held on March 20th. The majority of ALC athletes set a PR in at least one of their events.
For the Eagles, the big finisher on the day was Gerald Bentley, who had a pair of top-ten placements. Bentley was 5th in the High Jump, with a leap of 1.79m and 7th in the Javelin, with a toss of 39.37m.
The other big finisher was Braden Harvel, whose throw of 38.10 m broke the record he had set in the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge in Discus. This also qualified him for the NCCAA nationals.
For the Lady Eagles, the big finisher was Rose Scotello, who earned a top-ten placement in the Javelin, with her toss of 25.09m.
