ALC Participates in the NCCAA Men and Women's National Track and Field Championships
Wilmore, KY: Five members of the Alice Lloyd College Track and Field squads ventured to Wilmore, Kentucky to participate in the NCCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, hosted by Asbury University.
For the Lady Eagles, Rose Scotello, Katie Moore, and Chelsi Riffe competed, while for the men, Gerald Bentley and Braden Harvel were the representatives
For the event, the Lady Eagles had the following results:
Rose Scotello: Finished 11th in the Javelin with a throw of 27.02m.
Katie Moore: Finished 9th in the Discus at 35.42m and 12th in the Shot Put at 9.76m.
Chelsi Riffe: Finished 13th in the Triple Jump with a leap of 9.47m. In the High Jump, she did not mark.
For the event, the Eagles had the following results:
Gerald Bentley: Finished 7th in the High Jump with a height of 1.85m. #This earned 1.5 points for the club.
Braden Harvel : Fnished 17th in the Shot Put with a toss of 12.77m and 14th in the Discus with a throw of 38.32m
