Circleville, OH – The Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles volleyball team opened their 2025 season on Saturday, August 23, with a trip to the Buckeye State for a challenging tri-match. The Lady Eagles first squared off against the tough Boyce College Lady Bulldogs before meeting the host Ohio Christian University Lady Trailblazers. When the day was done, Alice Lloyd came away with a hard-fought split.
Match 1: Lady Eagles 3, Boyce 2
The Lady Eagles (1-0) kicked off their season with a thrilling five-set victory over Boyce (0-1).

Set 1: Tied at 10-10, ALC strung together a decisive 10-3 run to close out the opener, 25-16.

Set 2: A back-and-forth battle ended with Boyce edging out the Lady Eagles, 25-23.

Set 3: Alice Lloyd came out strong, building a commanding 16-8 lead and holding firm for a 25-19 win.
