#3 Alice Lloyd Eagles Volleyball drops Game 3 of NCCAA National Championship to #7 Emmaus, Iowa. Play tiebreaker round Friday
Joplin, Missouri: On Thursday, November 20th, the Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles volleyball team returned to Joplin Missouri to play their third and final game of pool play in the 2025 NCCAA DII National Championship The #6 seeded Lady Eagles would face the #6 Emmaus College Eagles squad.

The Lady Eagles (24-10) battled well but dropped the final match of pool play in four close games to a balanced Emmaus, Iowa (15-15) club.
In set one, the contest was tight throughout. Heading down the stretch, the Bluegrass girls tied things at 23-23. However, Emmaus managed the final pair of goals to win, 25-23.
Set two saw ALC jump on top quickly and extend their advantage. The Midwest club would stay close, but the Bluegrass bunch held on for the 25-18 win.
Set three saw a reversal of the previous game as Emmaus took a lead and managed to slowly extend it. They would hold on for a 25-18 win.
Set four was a nail-biter as the clubs traded points throughout. However, down the stretch, the lower seed delivered a pair of crucial goals to win, 25-23.
On the day, Taylan Hoskins led the way with 13 kills while Jadyn Hall added 9.
Peyton Taylor led everyone with 15 digs and 34 assists while Hall's 3 service aces led in that department.
EC led the closely contested match in assists (40-39) and digs (58-56) while ALC led in kills (47-42) and aces (7-6).

Due to the 3-way tie in Pool B, the Lady Eagles will now play in a tiebreaker round. On Friday at 10:30AM (EST) ALC will once more face Emmaus in a Tiebreaker Set. The squad that wins will face Arlington Baptist at 11:45 AM (EST) in another Tiebreaker Set (AB received the bye because they won more sets than ALC and EC). The winner of that game will then go on to face #1 Manhattan Christian College at 3:00 PM in the first Semifinal. Pensacola Christian will then face Bob Jones University in the second Semi-final match.
The two winners will then face-off for the championship on Saturday.
