Louisville, KY: The Alice Lloyd Eagles women and men's cross-country teams traveled to the "Derby City" of Louisville on Saturday, October 4h to participate in one of the country's top meets, the Greater Louisville Classic held annually at Tom Sawyer State Park. This course has regularly hosted the NCAA DI National Championships and was made for elite runners. Because over 2,000 female and male runners partake in this competitive event, each gender is separated into three divisions: Gold, Blue, and Silver. The Eagle squads participated in the Silver race.

The representatives came from all-levels of NCAA and NAIA colleges, so the competition was fierce.

On the day, the Lady Eagles had four runners tackle the 5K trail. Corinne Chambers crossed the finish line in a time of 26:04 (175th place). She was followed by Audrey Evans in 27:52 (190th), Alyssa Allen in 34:20 (201st) and Abigail Collins in 38:38 (204th).
